A tourist bus entering Milan's Area C (the historic centre) pays per entry day by length: €60 under 8 m — our band — €97.50 for 8–10.5 m and €150 above. The charge applies weekdays 07:30–19:30 only; weekends and holidays are free. Five hours of parking in designated bus zones are included in the fee.

Weekdays 07:30–19:30 only — enter on a weekend or holiday and Area C costs nothing. The fee includes 5 hours of parking in designated bus zones (€8/h afterwards). Area B, the larger outer zone, is an emissions filter only — EURO 6 vehicles enter free.

The Quadrilatero della Moda (the fashion district) is completely closed to buses of any size — no permit exists. And there is no bus stop at La Scala: groups walk from the Area C drop-offs. Plan both into the day; we flag them when your itinerary includes central Milan.
